Results Of the areas inspected, no apparent items of noncompliance or deviations were identified.

Independent Inspection (Units 1 and 2)
Fire extinguishers in various areas of the construction site were checked.
The safety seals on the extinguishers were intact and pressure gages indicated that unit had the proper charge. Sequoyah Nuclear Plant is in the process of replacing fire extinguishers with a new type as designated by Engineering Design Change Notice 2226.
The in place storage and maintenance records for 6 electrical motors (Con-tainment Spray Pump Motors 2B-B and 2A-A, Residual Heat Removal Pump Motor 2B-B, Safety Injection Pump Motor 2A-A, Charging Pump Motor 2B-B, and Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Motor 2A-A) were examined.
TVA's Construction Procedure P-6, "Preventivt Maintenance for Permanent Equipment", and Inspec-tion Instruction 32, " Inspection of Material in Storage" were used in this examination.
Within the areas examined, no items of noncompliance or deviations were identified.

Electrical (Cables and Terminations I) - Observation of Work and Work Activities and Review of Quality Records (Unit 2)
The inspector selected safety related cables, numbers 2PP 780 A, 2PP 637 B, 2PP 650 A, 2PL 1080 B, 2PL 4675 B, and 2PL 4820 A, for a physical examination and record review. These cables were examined in the areas of storage, protection, handling, nonconformance control, issue of specified material, receipt inspection including material certification, installation and installation inspection, cable and raceway identification, raceway loading and grounding to ensure procedures were being followed. Since cable termina-tions were still being performed, terminations and nondestructive tests on all of the cables were not complete. The procedures used in this examination were II-30. " Receipt Inspection", II-10, " Interconnecting Cable Termination and Insulation Inspection", 11-28, " Cable Pulling Inspection Construction Procedure (CP) P-2, Handling Nonconformances", and CP-P-24, " Inspection and Test Status".
Seven nonconformance reports (NCR 1324, 1382, 1495, 1498, 1663, 1693 and 1694) relating to cable installation were reviewed for current status, legibility, retrievability and completeness.
Construction Procedure (CP)
P-2, " Handling of Nonconformances" was used in this review. One QA audit SN-E-78-04) associated with electrical cable installation was reviewed to ensure audits were being performed and that corrective action including actions to prevent repetition were being accomplished.
