Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Noncompliance (50-302/77-26-2):
Failure to review and approve procedures utilized by licensee contractors in implementing nonradiological programs defined in Section 3.0 of Appendix B Technical Specifications.

Oxygen saturation monitorirg.
Review of licensees response (May 21,1979) and routine inspection disclosed that periodic monitoring of oxygen saturation in the outer bay, intake and discharge canals was being implemented as required.

Unresolved Items Unresolved items were not identified during this inspection.

Procedures
,
Appendix B Technical Specification 5.5.2 requires, in part, that all procedures and changes to procedures utilized by contractors to implement the environmental monitoring programs described in Section 3.0 shall be reviewed and approved by the licensee. The inspector conducted a detailed review of procedures currently in use by licensee contractors (University of Florida-Gainsville, NUS Corporation, Connell Hetcalf and Eddy) for implementation and audit of the nonradiological surveillance program.
Inspection disclosed that all contractor procedures were reviewed and approved by the licensee as required.
Based on the above finding, the inspector informed licensee representatives that the subject item of noncompliance (77-26-2) was closed.

Oxygen Saturation Monitoring Inspection included a detailed review and discussion of the licensee's letter of May 21, 1979, which defined corrective action for noncompliance item 79-10-1 addressing oxygen saturation measurements as per Appendix B
