SUMMARY

Scope: A routine unannounced material control and accounting safeguards inspection was conducted by a regionally based inspector and two MC&A inspectors from the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards. The areas inspected were MC&A system management and assessment, internal controls, measurement systems, measurement controls, material control and accounting for exports and imports, follow-up of violations and deviations and management meetings, entrance and exit interviews. Inspection Procedures 85403, 85405, 85407, 85409, 85411, 85415, 84301, 92702 and 30703 were addressed.

Results: Within the scope of the inspection, no deviations or declining performance were identified by the NRC inspectors. Two licensee identified and corrected violations previously reported were the subject of a follow-up inspection.
