This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the areas of the Physical Security Plan (MC 81401), Safeguards Events (MC 81402), Fixed Site Physical Protection of Special Nuclear Material of Low Strategic Significance (MC 81431), and inspection Followup item (MC 92701).

Results The licensee had procedures in place for the reporting of safeguards events if required (Section 1.1).

• The licensee was providing protection for special nuclear materials in accordance with plan commitments (Section 2.1).

Changes to the security plan did not decrease the effectiveness of the plan.

Security procedures and orders were consistent with the security plan. Training records were current and security officers were knowledgeable of their duties and responsibilities (Section 3.1).
