, This letter is being submitted in accordance with the Limerick Generating  :

Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2, Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) Section 3.2, which stipulates that the NRC shall be notified within 30 days following the date

of approval of a change to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.

By letter dated September 8, 1993, the Penr.sylvania Department. of

Environmental Resources (PA DER) gave us approval to continuously discharge 450 i gpm of make-up water from the Perkiomen Storage Tank to the Possum Hollow Run  ;

through Outfall 020. A copy of the PA DER letter approving. this_ change is j attached. The NRC was previously notified that we requested this change to the l LGS NPDES permit in our letter dated August 19, 1993.  ;

However, following this approval we failed to notify the NRC within 30 days  ;

as required by Section 3.2 of.the LGS EPP. This error occurred as a result of  !

an administrative oversight and corrective actions are being implemented, i
