Dear Sirs:

As widely reported in the media this morning, a sp.3cial task force appointed by the Governor of Indiana has recommended that the construction of Marble Hill . Units 1 and 2 be cancelled. Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. and Wabash Valley Power Associa-tion, Inc. (" Applicants") have made no decision concerning that recommendation. Applicants will require some time to consider and determine their response. Pending such a decision, we suggest tha t the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board defer any further action in this proceeding.
