Council of the City of Cincinnati, State of Ohio, at its session on January 5, 1984, adopted the motion entitled:

MOTION BY MRS. SPENCER That Cincinnati City Council advise the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that limiting public participation to " time per-mitting" at the January 11, 1984 meeting between the NRC and CG&E is not in the best interest of the City of Cincinnati or its citizens. Furthermore, City Council should urge the NRC to hold a meeting in Cincinnati for the express purpose of soliciting public comment on the Plan to Verify Quality Control.

At the request of Council, a copy of the motion is enclosed.

Marian Spencer, Councilmember Statement: On January 11, 1984 at 1p.m. at Convention Center the NRC and CGSE will meet. CG6E will present to the NRC its Plan to Verify Quality Control at the Zimmer Nuclear Power Station.

The meeting on January 11, 1984 is open to the public. It is not, however, a meeting for public participation and response to the Plan to Verify Quality Control. The NRC has not set another meeting date for public comment.
