Dear Mr. Stinson:

This refers to the meeting conducted at your staffs request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 14, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. The meetings purpose was to discuss various management initiatives at the Farley Nuclear Plant. Enclosed is a list of attendees.

The discussions included the following topics: the reactor vessel head replacement effort, the Kaowool project, Mitigating Systems Performance Indicators, the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation status and recent operational performance. The meeting was candid and informative and provided useful insight into your staffs understanding and resolution of the discussed topics. The meeting did not result in specific action items or decisions.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
