JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 - TRANSMITTAL OF DAM INSPECTION REPORT
Dear Ms. Coleman:
Enclosed is a copy of the Dam Safety Inspection Report prepared by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This report contains the results of an inspection conducted on June 23, 2023, of the Cooling Water Storage Pond (CWSP) Dam at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Farley).
Based on observations made during field inspection, review of data submitted by the owner, and discussions with the NRC staff and licensee representatives, FERC found that the Farley CWSP Dam embankment and appurtenances were in satisfactory condition and adequately maintained for service, stability, and longevity.
The information in the enclosed report is considered Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII). Thus, the Enclosure is considered official use only and is being withheld from public disclosure.
The enclosure transmitted with here contains Critical Energy Infrastructure Information.
When separated from the enclosure, this transmittal document is DECONTROLLED.
