SUMMARY

- FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT DOCKET NOS. 50-348, 50-364 On May 20, 2019, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met with members of the public concerning the annual assessment of the Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, in Dothan, AL. The purpose of the open house session was to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of the Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, with the public for the period of January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018. Enclosed are a list of attendees and a copy of the information displayed at the meeting.

NRC Annual Assessment Summary Farley Nuclear Plant Farley Nuclear Plant operated safely and in a manner that preserved the public health and safety and protected the environment All inspection findings identified were of very low safety significance (Green)

Farley Nuclear Plant PIs and Findings 2018 All Performance Indicators were Green (no performance thresholds exceeded) 10 Green non-cited violations.

One Green, Notice of a Violation, Severity Level IV, Interference with the operation of a respirator.

One Apparent Violation (open) for protection of safeguards information was issued.

The licensee agreed to alternative dispute resolution with the NRC. On January 29, 2019, the NRC issued a Confirmatory Order to Plant Farley for the protection of safeguards information.

5 NRC Annual Assessment Summary Farley Nuclear Plant Farley Nuclear Plant was in the Licensee Response Column of the NRCs ROP Action Matrix for the last quarter of 2018 Cross-cutting issues: None NRC plans baseline inspections at Farley Nuclear Plant for 2019 and to conduct an additional inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 92702, Follow-up on Traditional Enforcement Actions Including Violations, Deviations, Confirmatory Action Letters, Confirmatory Orders, And Alternative Dispute Resolution Confirmatory Orders to assess your implementation of the confirmatory order from the protection of safeguards information.
