[E Duko-Power Company requests that a 14 day extension be granted for submittal of LER 1414/90-010, which deals with the apparent Tech Spec violation resulting from VP I -operations with EMF-39 inoperable (due to a tripped sample pump).

The. investigation of this event is well underway, however-additional time is nooded ,
to adequately investigate and document all relevant aspects. The principle remaining investigation is focussing on the sequence of events'(power supply
<re-alignment) that' led to.the loss of-power and tripping of the sample pump. We
-want:to ensure that we have adequately addressed all pertinent factors.
