RESOLUTION OF TFE CITY CP STATESVILLE TO WITIIDRAW FROM 'DIC ATOMIC E:'ERGY C0!NISSION ACTIONS C; Ir3 WHEREAS, the City Council of the ~ '; of Statesville voted on October 25, 1971, to withdraw from Piodnont Electri-Cities Association; and as Pied: ont Electri-Cities Association was then engar.ed in an action against Duke Power Company before the Atomic Energy Comission; and, Wi!EREAS, the Atomic Energy Commission has requested that the City of Statesvillo fon:: ally withdraw fron the action.
NON, Ti!EREFORE, upon motion duly mado and seconded, it is hereby RESOLVED, that the City of Statesville withdraw as an intervener in the actions pending against Duke Power Cocpany and docketed in the Atonic Energy Cer=ission files as nu bers 50-269A, 50-270A, 50-287A, 50-369A and 50-370A.
