REACTOR OPERATOR INITIAL WRITTEN RETAKE EXAMINATION AT MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION 369/99-302 AND 50-370/99-302
Dear Mr. Barron:
In a telephone cons,ervation on May 19,1999 between Mr. Allen Orton, Operations Training Manager and Mr. Ronald F. Aiello, Senior License Examiner, arrangements were made for the administration of an initial written retake examination for McGuire Nuclear Station on June 3, 1999. This examination will be administered at the Catawba Nuclear Station simultaneously with the Catawba written exemination. Previously we had agreed to administer the examination under the Interim Revision 8, of NUREG-1021, " Operator Licensing Examination StanQrds for Power Reactors." We now have agreed that your staff will prepare the examination using the guidelines of the recently approved " final" Revision 8 of NUREG-1021. We will discuss with your staff any changes that might be necessary before the examination is administered.
