Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 1999 Interim Updated Final Safety Analysis Report Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.4, attached are the signed original and 10 copics of the McGuire Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR). This update is provided earlier than required by 10 CFR 50.71(c) to incorporate changes from the Accuracy Review Project to date. In addition, this UFSAR update includes items relocated during improved Technical Specifications implementation.

The effective date for this update is February 15,1999, as indicated in the lower margin of each replacement page. The changes are denoted with a change indicator "7" in the left margin adjacent to the changes. The package includes update insertion instructions, list of effective pages for tables, list of effective pages for figures, Chapters 1 through 17 entire text, and revised tables and figures. The next regular UFSAR update as required by 10 CFR 50.71(e) is due in October of 1999.
