SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR MAY 1995 The unit began the month operating at full power. On 5/10/95 at* 1300, the loss of Bus lG resulted in Cooling Tower Pump P-398 tripping.

An emergency power reduction was made and the unit was stabilized at 55% power. Power was slowly raised to 88% by 5/16/95, where it remainded until 5/22/95. At 1105 on 5/22/95, 'A' Main Feedwater Pump tripped and an emergency power reduction was performed to approximately 50%. At 1110, 'B' Main Feedwater Pump also tripped, at which point the reactor was manually scrammed.

The unit remained off-line and entered the Refueling Outage originally scheduled for 5/28/95.
