SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR FEBRUARY 1997 The Unit began the month in a continued shutdown condition. The reactor went critical on February 7 at 1605 hours0.0186 days <br />0.446 hours <br />0.00265 weeks <br />6.107025e-4 months <br /> and on line February 8 at 1840 hours0.0213 days <br />0.511 hours <br />0.00304 weeks <br />7.0012e-4 months <br />. On February 1 O at 0545 the Unit was at 100% power.

On February 11at1916, the Unit began to reduce power in 10% increments to evaluate and reduce the vibration on the main generator bushings. Subsequently, the power was reduced until it was decreased to 49% power on February 12 to monitor the vibration. The Unit remained at 49% power until February 17, when the Unit was taken offline at 0202 due to a hydrogen leak in the generator. The reactor remained critical during the forced outage. The Unit went back online February 19 at 2003 hours0.0232 days <br />0.556 hours <br />0.00331 weeks <br />7.621415e-4 months <br />. The Unit achieved full power at 0300 on February 21.
