OF THE JULY 26, 2011, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS CONSTELLATION ENERGY NUCLEAR GROUP, LLC (CENG) FLEET PERFORMANCE
On July 26, 2011, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the Chandler Building, Baltimore, Maryland. The meeting was between NRC Headquarters, NRC Region I, and Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, LLC (CENG) management to discuss fleet performance. The meeting notice and licensee presentation can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management Syst em (ADAMS) as ML111950610 and ML112130460, respectively. A list of principal NRC and licensee meeting participants is enclosed.
CENG began the meeting with a brief welcome, and opening remarks. CENG management gave an overview of their organization and governance structure, and discussed current CENG operational and regulatory performance, site performance, CENG response to the Japan Event, and key licensing actions.
The meeting provided a useful forum to discuss common themes at the CENG plants with NRC Headquarters and Region. The meeting concluded with closing remarks by CENG and the NRC.
