Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

On July 20, 1979, Duke Power Company submitted 10CFR 50.55e Report SD/413-414/79-1. This report described defective welds in the Unit 1 main control boards. As noted under Corrective Action in that report, inspection of eight miscellaneous control panels had not' been completed. All of these control panels have .now been inspected.

All were found to be acceptable and no repairs were required.
