MONTH: November,1998 Catawba Unit 2 began the month of November operating at 100% full power The unit operated at or near 100% full power until 11/08/98 at 2100, when the unit began reducing power and held at 55% power from ;
11/09/98 at 0245 to 11/11/98 at 0231 to repair "2A" feedwater pump turbine mechanical overspeed trip i function. The unit returned to 100% full power on 11/11/998 at 1500, and operated at near 100% full power the remainder of the month.
