Farley Nuclear Plant Unit 1 Reports for Interval 1/ Period 3/ Gutage 3 and Interval 2/ Period 1/ Outage 1. These reports describe and summarize the inservice inspection detivities which vere performed during the Unit 1 eighth refueling outage and vere completed on May 17, 1988.
These reports describe and summarize the inservice inspection detivities which vere performed during the Unit 1 eighth refueling outage and vere completed on May 17, 1988.
As described in Alabama Power Company letter of January 13, 1987, completion of the Unit 1 First Ten Year Interval examinations was deferred until the eighth refueling outage. This deferral was within the twelve month extensten permitted by the ASME Code, Section XI, IVA-2400. Areas of examination included the reactor vessel velds, interior surfaces and lover internals and the main steam loops A and B piping velds. No credit was taksn for these examinations toward the Interval 2 examination requirements. Completely separate and distinct examinations and reports vere made as required for each Interval's examinations.
