SHUTDOWN TO REPAIR FEEDWATER CllECK VALVE On September 1, 1993, the licenseo shut Unit 2 down to repair a body-to-bonnet leak in a feedwater check valvo which makes up part of the containment isolation boundary. The initial leak rate was 5 to 10 gallons por minuto, but the leakage was reduced to a weep by tightening the bonnot studs.
The licensoa expects to restart the unit on September 5, 1993.
