SHUTDOWN TO REPAIR GENERATOR GROUND On July 24,1988, Unit 2 was shut down to investigate a ground (short) in the main generator. The plant is expected to remain shut down for two to six weeks for generator repairs.
The resident inspectors will monitor the licensee's repair activities.
The State of Illinois will be notified.
