OIL FROM TURBINE ELECTR0 HYDRAULIC CONTROL (EHC) SYSTEM FOUND DRIPPING INTO THE CABLE TUNNEL The. licensee notified Region III that inspection of the cable tunnel during the current maintenance outage had identified oil dripping into the cable tunnel from the EHC system, which is located on the floor above.
Investigation is continuing into what correctivh action may be necessary.'
The EHC oil is a nonflammable hydraulic oil (trade name 4
FYRQUELL).

However, the licensee is investigating the affect on cable insulation.
Approximately 50 instrument and control cables may be
