LaSalle Unit 1 Notification of an Unusual Event Marseilles, IL 61341 Alert Site Area Emergency Docket No: 50-373 General Emergency l XX Not Applicable Subj ct: BOMB THREAT At 9:30 p.m., (CST), April 25, 1986, the licensee received an in-plant telephone call from an unidentified male. The individual stated that a bomb had been placed in the Unit i reactor.

Th2 area was evacuated, and a search begun. It was called off at 3:20 a.m. (CST),

April 26 1986. No bomb was found. The licensee's security organization is continuing the investigation.

The State of Illinois will be notified. The NRC's Information Assessment Team also was I notified. Region III (Chicago) will monitor the licensee's action.

Region III was first notified of this event at 10:48 p.m. (CST), April 25, 1986. This information is current as of 9:45 a.m. (CDT), April 28, 1986.
