Subject:

CONSTRUCTION WORKER FATALITY The La Salle County Station Project Superintendent notified Region III that a 20-year old construction craft employee was fatally injured at 1:30 p.m, on January 20, 1978.  ;

The accident occurred while operating an electric hoist (sky climber).

The operator leaned outside of the protective cage and his head struck ,

a pipe. -

The licensee reports that OSHA was notified.
