DearMr. Adams:

General Atomics (GA) recently submitted a copy of the latest revision to its " Fixed Site and Transportation Plan for the Protection of Special Nuclear Material of Moderate and Low Strategic Significance," dated July 1999 (Ref.). The changes primarily consisted of deletions which reflect the progress GA has made m its efforts to decommission facilities on its site.

GA concluded that the subject revisions did not decrease the effectiveness of the plan. The purpose of this letter is to document that the changes applicable to GA's two TRIGA* reactors have been made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54.
