Dear Mr. Adams:
General Atomics (GA) has revised pages 10-1 and 10-2 of its NRC approved Radiological Contingency Plan. The pages were revised to require the Radiation Safety Training for TRIGA reactor personnel annually per your letter dated September 22,1998. The purpose of this letter is to document that, inasmuch as these changes do not represent a decrease in the effectiveness of the plan, they are being made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54 (q)
(and 10 CFR 70.32 (I)). Copies of the revised pages, dated October 1998 are enclosed for your use in updating the NRC's copies of the subject plan.
