Dear Mr. Adams:

Gene;al Atomics (GA) recently completed a review of its NRC approved Radiological Contir,vency Plan. As a result, pages 4-7 and 4-8 were revised to update selected names and ielephone numbers of GA emergency response personnel. These revised pages were previously submitted by GA letter dated August 20,1998 (Ref.) The purpose of this letter is to document that, inasmuch as these changes do not represent a decrease in the effectiveness of the plan, they are being made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54 (q) (and 10 CFR 70.32 (1)). Copies of i the revised pages, dated August 1998 are enclosed for your use in updating the NRC's copies of the subject plan.
