PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN CHANGES (TAC NOS. MA6623 AND MA6624)

Dear Dr. Asmussen:

This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated July 26,1999, which referenced your letter of July 20,1999, which transmitted changes to the Fixed Site and Transportation Plan for the Protection of Special Nuclear Material of Moderate and Low Strategic Significance submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p). Your letter of July 20,1999,'was supplemented by a letter dated August 16,1999.

Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your security plan and' after limited screening of the changes, no NRC approval is required, in accordance with 50.54(p). Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that the changes have not decreased the effectiveness of your security plan.

The enclosure to your letter contains information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d) and will be withheld from public disclosure. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
