1. PURPOSE i L

l To provide a procedure to establish containment integrity during an accident  !

condition. This is accomplished by containment isolasion, control of i pressure and temperature, and control of combustible gas.

l

2. ENTRY CONDITIONS  !

Functional Recovery, E0P 2540, indicates that Containment Integrity is not

, being satisfied. .

3. OPERATOR ACTIONS ,

Instructions Contingency Actions CAUTION Do not leave this procedure until Containment Integrity is satisfied.

Other safety function (s) may be pursued concurrently.

3.1 Determine, based on present plant 3.1 conditions, which success path (s) ,

are required to satisfy contain-ment integrity requirements (Refer to Figure 4.1). Do the following

a. a. Continue with this O procedure
1. Shift containment air recirc fans to slow speed (C01)
11. Open containment air recirc fans emergency outlet valves (C01) iii. Place hydrogen concentration 111. Cirect Chemistry to monitor in operation per sample containment OP 2313C
b. Go to step 3.2 b. Not applicable O

CAUTION Local radiation levels should be determined before attempting any local valve manipulations.

l 3.2 Ensure Containment Isolation 3.2 Do the following

a. E containment pressure a.

increases to 5 psig, Then i., Manually initiate verify SIAS, CIAS and EBFAS CIAS (C01)  !

(C01X) ii. Remotely close

Refer to OPS Form 2540E-1 iii. Manually isolate valves (local)

1. Two containment spray header flows greater ,

than 1350 gpa (C01) i 10$

11. Suction from RWST with level greater than i 10%, or from containment sump (C01) [

i

b. When containment pressure is b. E containment pressure less than 10 psig, Then do subsequently increases to i t

j the following 27 psig, Then restart {

l 1. Reset containment spray containment spray (or r l actuation modules verify automatic  !

11. Stop the containment spray actuation) (C01) f pumps  ;
