AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA22222*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA2222222A CAUTION Oo not secure or place an ICCS in MANUAL mode unless, by at least .

two independent indications, (1) c' uperaun in AUTOMATIC. mode is confirmed, or (2) adequate core cooling is a> 9ted. If an EC'S is placed in MANUAL mode, it will not initiate autw Wal'" na e frequent checks of the initiating or controlling paraneter. k,.en manual operation is no longer required, restore the system to AUTOMATIC / STANDBY mode if possible.

CAUTION If a high drywell pressure ECCS initiation signal 2.0 psig (drywell pressure which initiates ECCS) occurs or exists while depressurizing, prevent injection from those S and LPCI pumps not ,

required to assure adequate core cooling prior to reaching their maximum injection pressures. When the high drywell 1ressure ECCS j Jnitiation signal clears, restore CS and LPCI to AUTOMATIC /

STANDBY mode.

CAUTION A rapid increase in injection into the RPV may induce a large power excursion and result in substantial core damage.
