l t 101 lThe 2E41-F001 valve f ailed to ocerate due to a motor shunt field insulation failure.

i.j i j lThe motor f ailure was orobably caused bv frecuent onorations resultina in a degradationi l l i i;, j lof the insulation by heat. The valve stem was also found rouah encuch to impair oner-il3j lation bJt not enouqh to prevent coeration. The motor was rewound and the stcm replaced.l l

l i l<.1 lThe valve was then tested and placed back in service within the required tire oeriod.
