I NIAGARA M0HMK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT UNIT 2 DOCKET NJ. 50-410 Interim Report for a Problem 1:
Concerning Undersized Structural Steel Shop Welds Description of the Problem The Nuclear Regulatory Commission Constructiois Assessment Team reviewed structural steel shop welding performed by Cives Steel Corporation and observed some welds to be undersized.
A reinspection program for a sample of these welds will be developed.
The results will be evaluated to determine if further action is required.
A final report will'be submitted by March 30, 1984.
