SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES ~

The unit operated during the month of February 1999 with a Net Design Flectrical Capacity Factor of 100.2%. During the month the unit entered two shutdown LCO's. The Emergency J

Condensers were declared inoperable because of missed weld examinations. Both HPCI systems were declared inoperable due to #12 Feedwater Booster Pump discharge check valve failing to close when the pump was shut down. While the unit was derated slightly neither LCO required the unit to completely shutdown. On February 16,1999, the final shipment of new fuel totaling 176 bundles arrived. There were no challenges to the Electromatic Relief Valves or Safety Valves.'
