Clarification of 11/9/94 Master Conriecting Rod 10 CFR Part 21 Report Revision
Dear Sir:
The recent revision to the above report (reference OCG 9995) identifies suspect master connecting rods and contains information concerning the location in the engine (crankshaft throw) for these rods.
The purpose of this letter is to inform the affected utilities that the location / throw may not be as stated on the subject report, and that the suspect rods may be in different throw locations. This has been verbally discussed with affected utilities as they have conducted their inspections.
