SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES i

The unit operated during the month ofJuly 1999 with a Net Design Electrical Capacity l

Factor of 70.2%. Power was reduced to remove #14 reactor recirculation pump from

^

service to repair the generator tachometer coupling. After repairs, the pump was returned to' service. The unit was also derated when control rod 14-43 scrammed due to a blown j

fuse on its associated solenoid pilot valve. The rod was returned to its original position.

On July 23,1999 the reactor scrammed on APRM Hi Hi neutron flux when the-d Mechanical Pressure Regulator malfunctioned during post-maintenance testing. The unit i

remained offline for the rest of the month. There were no challenges to the Electromatic Relief Valves of Safety Valves.
