NIAGARA MOHAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT #1 NARRATIVE OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE The plant operated during the month of November 1998 with a Unit Availability Factor of 100.0% and a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 99.2%. There were no challenges to the Electromatic Relief Valves or Safety Valves. Reductions in Capacity Factor were due to a control rod sequence exchange combined with control rod testing (stroke timing).
