SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES The unit operated during the month of August 1999 with a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 77.4%. On August 1,1999 the unit commenced a reactor stanup from the Shutdown condition that resulted from the July 23,1999 scram. Shonly after .

reaching critical, the reactor scrammed due to a spurious noise spike received on IRM's l 12 and 16 when ranging IRM 11. On August 5, the Unit recommenced reactor startup l and returned to service on August 6,1999. There were no challenges to the Electromatic I Relief Valves or Safety Valves.
