SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES The unit operated during the month of August 1999 with a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 77.4%. On August 1,1999 the unit commenced a reactor stanup from the Shutdown condition that resulted from the July 23,1999 scram. Shonly after reaching critical, the reactor scrammed due to a spurious noise spike received on IRM's 12 and 16 when ranging IRM 11. On August 5, the Unit recommenced reactor startup and returned to service on August 6,1999. There were no challenges to the Electromatic Relief Valves or Safety Valves.
