ENCLOSURE NOTICE OF VIOLATION Duquesne Light Company Docket No. 50-412 Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2 License No. NPF-73 During an NRC inspection conducted on September 8,1992 and July 20,1993, a violation of NRC requirements was identified. In accordance with the " General Statement of Policy and Procedures for NRC Enforcement Actions," the violation is listed below:

10 CFR 50.9, completeness and accuracy of information, requires, in part, that information required by statute or by Commission regulations, orders, or license conditions to be maintained by the licensee, shall be complete and accurate in all material respects. Technical Specification 6.8.1 A requires that written procedures be established, implemented and maintained, covering activities listed in Appendix A of Regulatory Guide 1.33, Revision 2, February 1978, including administrative procedures for log entries. Operating Manual Procedure 1/2.4.8.5, " Conduct of Operations" issue 3, Revision 4, specifies that log entries should be accurate, legible, and concise so that they cannot be misinterpreted or misread. Turbine building tog L-4, requires battery room fire and air flow checks.

Contrary to the above, the licensee determined that records required to be maintained by Commission regulations or license conditions were not complete and accurate in all material respects. Specifically, during the period of June 11 through 24,1992, two records were identified as being incomplete or inaccurate. These errors were material in that they evidenced that checks had been made when they had not.
