l AFFIDAVIT PURSUANT TO 10 CFR 2.790 Arkansas Power & Light Company) SS:

I, David C. Trimble, depose and say that I am the Manger, Licensing, of Arkansas Power & Light Company, have reviewed or caused to have reviewed the information which is identified as proprietary and referenced in the paragraph immediately below. I am submitting this affidavit in conformance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's l regulations.

The information for which proprietary treatment is sought is contained in the Arkansas Power & Light Company Emergency Plan implementing procedures and was outlined in our letter to Darrell A. Eisenhut of July 31, 1981, attached.

In our letter of July 31, 1981, we specified portions of the Emergency Plan implementing procedures to be deleted from public disclosure.

Included in these were all employee names and all phone numbers. We deleted these items to meet the intent of NRC Generic Letter 81-17.

Many of the emergency response personnel referenced by name in the Emergency Plan implementing procedures have home phone numbers and home addresses listed in the local phone directory. During normal operations and during an emergency, with these names publicly available, these

individuals and their families could be subject to unnecessary harass-l ment.

All phone numbers of response organizations were deleted from our pro-cedures to eliminate any unnecessary and unauthorized phone traffic to emergency numbers, which could be severely taxed during emergency con-ditions.

Due to the unwarranted invasion of personal privacy and the need for

emergency phones to be kept as free as possible the attached described r

information should be withheld from public disclosure.
