Description:

On 1/16/83, while clearing an off-normal alarm for the flow comparators, it was determined that the APRM flux scram trip settings had been found in the non-conservative direction i.e. above .65 W+ 55% (T.S. 2.1.A.1.a).

Cause and Corrective Action: Both proportional amplifiers were found to have drifted beyond allowable limits ("A" channel = 104%, "B" channel = 91%). Investi-gation of this event is in progress however, cause has not yet been determined. A daily check of the settings is being conducted to ensure timely identification should this reoccur.
