SUMMARY

The plant entered August at approximately 100 percent core thermal power (CTP). Minor power reductions where performed on 8/2,8/3 and 8/4 to avoid exceeding condenser vacuum and hotwell temperature limits. On 8/4, at 1734 hours0.0201 days <br />0.482 hours <br />0.00287 weeks <br />6.59787e-4 months <br />, the plant commenced reducing power to perform a backwash of the Main Condenser. On 8/5, at 0954 hours0.011 days <br />0.265 hours <br />0.00158 weeks <br />3.62997e-4 months <br />, the plant attained 100 percent CTP where it was essentially maintained until 8/7. On 8/7, at 1628 hours0.0188 days <br />0.452 hours <br />0.00269 weeks <br />6.19454e-4 months <br />, the plant commenced reducing power to avoid exceeding condenser vacuum and hotwell temperature limits then further reduced power to perform a backwash of the Main Condenser.
