OPERATION

SUMMARY

The plant entered September at 100% core thermal power (CTP). Minor power reductions were performed on 9/1 through 9/6 to avoid exceeding main condenser vacuum and hotwell temperature limits. On 9/6, at 2130 hours0.0247 days <br />0.592 hours <br />0.00352 weeks <br />8.10465e-4 months <br />, the plant commenced reducing power to perform a backwash of the main condenser. On 9F, at 0800 hours0.00926 days <br />0.222 hours <br />0.00132 weeks <br />3.044e-4 months <br />, the plant attained 100% CTP where it was essentially maintained until 9/18. the plant commenced a scheduled power reduction to facilitate entry into the main condenser waterboxes for inspection and cleaning.
