Dear Mr. Madsen:

_- In accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e), we are submitting this progress-report concerning identified deficiencies as a result of unauthorized field modifications of Hilti-Kwik concrete anchor bolts during the installation process. This matter was verbally reported to your Mr. R. G. Taylor on October 1,1980, and we have submitted interim reports forwarded by our letters TXX-3223 and TXX-3266 dated October 21, 1980 and January 12, 1981, respectively.

As stated in our letter TXX-3266, ultrasonic testing and evaluation in electrical (conduit) and HVAC Hilti-Kwik installations is continuing with the scheduled work effort estimated at thirty percent complete.

The anomalies mentioned in the subject letter have been/or will be identified and dispositioned in accordance with existing procedu'res for nonconforming items. Upon completion of our cesting, we will submit a final report on this matter. Our estimated completion date is December 1, 1981.
