On July 29, 1992, during Un-
_ Hot functional Testing, a steam leak was discovered in the Train
'A' RHR pump casing gasket and seal.
Later, the Train
- B* RHR pump was found to have.a steam leak with no apparent seal damage.
The last report on this issue, submitted in TXX-92557, stated that the evaluation would be complete by January 25, 1993.
The evaluation has determined that this deficiency could not create a substantial safety hazard were it to remain uncorrected nor does it represent a significant breakdown in any portion of the quality program.
Therefore, it is not reportable pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e) or 10CFR21.
Documentation for the evaluation is available onsite-for NRC review.
