Dear Mr. Denton:

Public Service Company of Inc: na, Inc. (PSI) has restructured the Marble Hill Project Management Team :: provide better communication and improved control over contractor activities. The change has evolved from the " Area Concept" and since it is a departure from the previous organizational structure, we are notifying you.

The restructured organization consists of Contract Managers, supported by individuals matrixed from parent organizations such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, Project Controls, and Contract Administration. Each contract team is tailored to fit each contract and, in some cases, key positions are one-on-one with the Contractor organizations.

The restructuring has been developed over a period of several months.

Formal presentations have been made to all site departments and PSI senior l management, and the concept has the support of the Contractors and Quality l Assurance.

We believe that the new organization will provide PSI with a strong, integrated team to assure a successful project. The new organization was effective February 2, 1981. The project manual revisions discussed in our January 14, 1981 letter to Mr. James G. Keppler are still being processed and should be completed by March 1, 1981.
