Gentlemen:

The subject IE Bulletin requested AP&L to determine if any of the active valves in use in safety related systems at Arkansas Nuclear One have valve parts cast by Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc. Therefore, oc further action is required on this IE Bulletin.

Approximately 110 manhours were expended to review, inspect and prepare this response.

Very truly yours, b&f. Y David C. Trimble, Manager, Licensing DCT:LDY:1p
