Dear Mr. Madsen:

On January 20, 1981 we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor of a deficiancy regarding the use of a cable lubricant identified as " Yellow 77" which, in the dry state, is combustible.

On February 18, 1981 in our letter TXX-3280 we stated that our evaluation of this deficiency was continuing and anticipated completion by May 15, 1981. It is expected, h> wever, that this evaluation will be completed by August 31, 1981.
