EVENT DESCRIPTION AND PROSABLE CONSEQUENCES h ITTTI l At 1410 on 10-9-80, while performina surveillance test FNP-1-STP-28.1 (Diesel Generatol

.ITITI l 2C Operability Test) the operator determined that he did not have the capability of l ITTT1 I manually controlling D/c frecuency. It was initially believed that the failure in theI manual circuit would not affect the auto cirettit. To confirm this initial conclusion.

I o I s l I a detailed review was initiated. At 2105 on 10-9-80 the regulator was repaired, the I fuses were replaced and the surveillance test was completed. At approximately this 0 6 l same time the detailed review was Concluded which revealed that the blown power supo1Vl fuses would also have affected.the auto voltage control. Therefore, the diesel would lolil l not have been able to maintain the' proper voltage under load. I LO 18.J l I SYSTEM CAUSE CAUSE COMP.
