AP&L's 90-day response to Generic Letter (GL) 88-17, dated March 14, 1989 (SCANO38908), described our plans for addressing the six programmed enhancements recommended by the NRC concerning the loss of decay heat ;
removc1 (OHR) issue. Item (5) of the GL 88-17 programmed enhancements recommended identification of technical speciTications (TSs) that restrict or limit the safety benefit of the actions identified in the GL, and submittal of appropriate changes. Our response identified the TS requirements for .-
minimum DHR cooling loop flow as not always eppropriate, and stated that we anticipated proposing a change to this requirement within six months. .
This letter is to inform you that we are presently processing this change request, and anticipate its submittal following the next regular Safety ,
Review Committee meeting, presently scheduled for December 12, 1989. '
